Welcome to the Interface Science Lab!
Saranya Pullanchery is an incoming assistant professor at Texas A&M Chemistry starting Fall 2024. Our group will work at the interface of physical chemistry, soft matter, nonlinear optics, and material science.
Most of the important chemical and physical processes on our planet takes place at surfaces and interfaces. The chemical properties of the thin boundary layer of molecules between two media are peculiar and different from either bulk media. Understanding how molecules organize themselves at interfaces is a crucial challenge in biology, chemistry, material science and many other fields. We aim to implement uniquely interface selective nonlinear optical spectroscopy and microscopy, along with a range of analytical tools to unravel the mysterious properties of interfaces.
